Commercial vehicles at YYC Calgary International Airport

Thank you for bringing your business to YYC Calgary International Airport. The Ground Transportation department aims to work together with our partners and service providers to ensure that curbsides are clear and convenient for guest drop-off and pick-up. Our goal is for all transportation vehicles to be available to guests in a timely manner.

Licensed and permit operators will be assigned a designated area in one of our 38 bus bays, according to the arrival time of the flight on which their group is scheduled. These are given on a first-come, first-served basis. In order to be authorized to pick up guests at the airport, all commercial vehicles must adhere to one of the following options.

Pay-As-You-Go

This method is practical for companies that rarely have pick-ups at YYC and are not licensed with The Calgary Airport Authority. Upon arrival, the commercial vehicle operator must pre-purchase a permit in the form of a six-digit PIN from the Bus Dispatch Office.

Licensed Operations

This option is more convenient and beneficial for regular airport operations. Operators must purchase a transponder (gate opener) at a cost of $50 each, allowing vehicles continuous access into our Bus Staging/Pick-up area. The company will receive a monthly invoice based on all trip activity and for the purpose of pick-ups.
