Family travel
Passing through YYC with the whole family doesn’t have to be stressful. Learn how you can take advantage of all the airport has to offer, for parents and children alike.
Travelling with kids
While flying somewhere is always exciting, the long lines and strict rules can be tough for little ones. That’s why we designed special areas throughout the airport just for them. They get to play, and parents get to relax.
YYC fun zones
These zones encourage fun, interactive play and exploration in a safe space. Each one has a carpet-covered foam floor and soft-sculptured foam play structures. They’re perfect for letting your kids be kids before your flight, or while waiting to pick someone up when they arrive.
There are seven main fun zones, with smaller mini play structures near the gate area in each terminal. Note that Fun Zones are unsupervised. Parents must be mindful of their children at all times.
