Pick up and drop off

We’re here to help make pick-up and drop-off at YYC Calgary International Airport simple and seamless, so you can enjoy warm welcomes and unrushed goodbyes. Learn more about your options for loading and unloading passengers.

Tip: Passengers may be picked up and dropped off curbside at the upper Departures level and the lower Arrivals level.

Picking up

Arriving passengers can be picked up on the lower Arrivals level curb at doors 4 -7 (domestic flights) or doors 16 – 17 (international flights). While waiting for your friend or family to get to your pre-determined meeting place, you can part for free at the cellphone waiting lot for up to 60 minutes.

Tip: During peak times, it may be faster to ask your passenger to meet you on the Departures level. 

Dropping off

Passengers may be dropped off at the curbside of the upper Departures level.

For an unrushed goodbye, park in short-term parking and enjoy 20 minutes free parking.

Unattended vehicles

Vehicles are not permitted to be unattended on the curb. Do not park, wait, or leave your vehicle unattended along the Arrivals or Departures roadway. Vehicles that are not actively loading or unloading passengers may be ticketed and towed.

The fee to retrieve your vehicle is $170 plus the daily cost of parking and GST.
