Information Technology (IT):

Responsible for areas including technology infrastructure, airport systems, applications and general IT, this unit focuses on progressing all systems that impact the operations and guest experience at YYC, ensuring all technological touch points are effective and seamless.

Infrastructure:

From fixing roadways and taxiways through to building new tenant spaces and improving YYC’s baggage system, the infrastructure team handles the projects that improve guest experience across our almost 4 million square feet of airport.

Accounting, Supply Chain and Strategy & Planning:

This group ensures financial prudence and planning through accounting, financing, procuring and strategy. Focused on the future, this team looks for innovative ways to ensure one of Canada’s busiest airports is poised for success through careful financial and strategic planning on both micro and macro levels.

Communications and Stakeholder Relations:

If you're passionate about shaping organizational narratives and fostering positive perceptions both internally and externally, the Communications and Stakeholder Relations department at the Calgary Airport Authority is a fit for you. This team plays a vital role in supporting the overall growth of our organization by focusing on how our brand is perceived and received among various audiences including the travelling public, airport partners and stakeholders and all levels of government.

Operations:

Whether it's out on the airfield or in the terminal building, our Operations teams touch every part of the guest experience and are always in the heart of the action. From clearing runways and taxiways or planning and resourcing gate activities to ensuring guests can navigate the airport and have the support they need, this team is laser-focused on elevating the guest experience and maintaining a safe and efficient operation.

Facilities:

Ensuring that all terminal and property-wide assets operate efficiently and effectively, the facilities team is agile and innovative in its approach to taking care of YYC.

Human Resources:

If your passion is improving the employee experience, this is the department for you. Our HR Division is responsible for ensuring we have the right programs in place to attract, retain and develop our greatest resource – our employees, YYC Crew.

Safety, Security & Compliance:

This team plays an important role in fulfilling our mandate of running a safe, secure and efficient operation by ensuring our employees, partners and contractors, both in the terminal and on the airfield, have the resources and information they need to do their jobs safely.

Commercial and Retail Development:

Always on the search for new shopping and dining options that meet the needs of our 17 million guests, in addition to optimizing YYC’s parking and ground transportation options, this team is exploring new and creative ways to generate revenue.

Land Development:

Our land team explores opportunities for business development on our land in industries spanning aviation, aerospace, logistics, retail and commercial, to strengthen YYC’s positioned as an economic catalyst in the Calgary region an investment destination of choice.

Air Service Development:

Collaborating with airline partners in a joint effort to provide the routes guests want, the Air Service Development Team enhances their overall travel experience by growing YYC’s network and connecting YYC to the world.

Environment:

This team is in the business of sustainability, leading our organization towards net zero through our corporate sustainability strategy, all while protecting our partners’ assets, safety and reputations by safeguarding the airport’s ecosystem for our guests and neighbours.
