Volunteer at YYC
White Hat Volunteer Program.
At YYC Calgary International Airport, we try to make every person’s visit to, or through, our airport, refreshingly effortless and enjoyable. More than anything, we want time spent here to be fondly remembered and joyfully shared. That all starts with our White Hat Volunteers, who are a true testament to Calgary’s warm western hospitality. Since 1991, the White Hat Volunteers – dressed in their iconic white cowboy hats and red vests – have greeted travellers from around the world with a warm welcome and a smile, answering questions and helping a lending hand however needed.
Curious about how White Hat Volunteers can help you?
Our volunteers are present during most hours of the day and are there to help you find your way around YYC. They can direct you to the best spot to sit down and eat, where to find the rental car centre or your check-in area.
Please note that volunteers cannot assist with security or customs due to Transport Canada security regulations. Volunteers are also unable to assist with luggage or wheelchair assistance. Please complete our Accessibility Assistance request form or contact your airline for further assistance.
